Encore has become a Partner of Wates Sustainable Technology Services, which will see the contractor act as an ‘innovation broker’ to help promote take-up of the water saving product.
Wates Sustainable Technology Services – part of leading construction, property services and residential development company, the Wates Group – aims to support its customers and partners achieve their environmental goals.
It does so by helping identify, select and implement cost-effective technologies like Encore that comply with regulations, lower carbon emissions, improve building performance and reduce running costs.
Encore is the world’s only cistern to use condensate from air conditioning units to flush the toilet, virtually eliminating the need to use mains water in the process.
Encore Director, Graham Kelly, said: “Being an official partner is excellent news for us and the wider environment because Wates will raise awareness of the cistern with key decision makers in its business, supply chain and customer portfolios.
